Heat and humidity.
It seems as if the spring was cool, almost too cool.. then one day it went from 60 to 85+ and the humidity skyrocketed from 50% up to 80%. Summer. If that is the life guard.. he isn't that busy right now is he? ;)

Yep, srp has it - the humidity skyrockets! Plus, the upper 90 degree temperatures make it obvious too! That pool looks sooo inviting.

Summer is signaled by my kids acting more insane than usual! (We are creatures of habit and no school is wrecking havoc with our family...)

We hope to join a local pool this summer...we've never done that as a family before...

When I was a kid summers always started and ended on the River or Lake, waterskiing and floating in the boat. Now? haha.. being an adult sucks. I'm stuck at work.
I'm hoping the sun does start to make appearances through this June Gloom now that summer is here though!
Thanks for stopping by and saying hi!

Actually JUNE GLOOM signals the start of summer here at the beach in Southern California ... and noisy parties late into the night too ;--)

the start of summer... in new england... its when you put the snow shovels away and the sand bucket away... and you start to pull weeds instead of pick your way across the ice :)!
