The Double Trouble Photo Meme brings to mind my best four legged friends, well, bestest friends with any number of legs, my pets, Abigail and Charley. They are quite the pair. Like most big sisters, our cat both adores and disdains her little brother. Abgail loves dogs over the company of cats and all cat-friendly dogs are welcome in our home. Our neighbor's piebald daschund, Chloe is a regular visitor and will seek out the cat in her hiding places to say Hello. It's so cute to see the daschund run up the stairs and zoom under the bed to roust the cat from her nap. It's a good life and I'm glad my pets have friends.
Do your pets have special two or four legged friends outside the family circle??
For those not owned by any animals, any cool animal stories to share?
Thank you.

We found our cat abandoned the day she was born and bottle raised her. The only thing she knows are dogs so she thinks she is one. It's really funny when her mannerisms are like the dogs. She's there at the door with the dogs when we get home. She goes out to use the bathroom like the dogs and comes right back in. Too funny. I seriously think that she thinks she's a dog.
cute furbabies!! I have 2 cats AND 2 dogs. Our newest is a yorkie who is a year old now...he lives to torture the poor cats. I feel so bad for them. I also have a 13 year old poodle who is my baby! had her before I had Joe OR the kids.
they are so cute!!! my big dog, buddy, seems to have a crush on one of the ladies at the groomers... he practically melts at her feet when he sees her and he's so good for her, she only charges us for a medium size dog, not a big lug like he really is!!!
Oh yes, I have a crazy dog named Tango. He is a pretty good dog, not a barker and doesn't go in the house but he is a great watchdog. Has a good loud bark. Just gets WAYYYYYYYYY to excited when people visit. Jumps up and claws them and runs around like a psycho. For this reason he usually ends up in another room locked away when company comes. He's about 55 pounds. He likes to chew things up on occasion, especially loves to chew the eyes and stuffing out of my sons stuffed animals :(
Oh yeah, he also likes to sneak past you at the door and run the neighborhood like a wild freak. Arghh!
Hey, what does <3 mean? My friend left it on her e-mail to me and I thought it was a typo or something?
YES! she certainly does have those lovely green eyes! i think that bella has decided she's a person... she tries to eat with us, get into the bath when im in there, sleep like like us... yea- she's ruined!
Abigail's eyes are beautiful but they certainly look very blue to me, or have I gone colour blind. Your dog is adorable too.
Abigail's eyes ARE beautiful! Cute pic of the two of them!
Such cute stories...and I can't believe your pets posed for a photo!
We have one dog, Marley, who on occasion has managed to catch a friend or two...as in a squirrel or opossum. She likes to shake them a bit and always gets so sad when they won't play with her anymore...because they are now lifeless. She gently licks them to rouse them...but it never works. You think she'd learn her lesson!
Awww, so cute! I bet they have a lot of fun together :-)
I have the three kittens and of course my big, old, worn out Mrs Claws. The only other friends they have are blogging friends, LOL!
Such cute furrbabies! What kind of dog is Charley?
I have a cat..she isn't very social and prefers no visitors.
Your kitty looks just like my Hannah!
Ooooh so cute!! I was never a dog person until we got our pooch... now there is a special place in my heart for the four-legged creatures.
Our dog used to have poochie friends at our old house, but none here at our new place. The dog next door barks menacingly at her through the fence. :(
We have eight cats, and let me tell you, Eight is Enough. The oldest is a blind blue calico lady who is doing fine without seeing much. The others are all nuts in their own way. The calico girl likes to be petted but hates to be touched, so I have to use a brush. I can't get anyone to take any of our neurotic cats, so here we are.
Sammy, our black lab vacationed at Grandma's while we were in Maine. When we dropped Sammy off Max the cat was thrilled and couldn't stop sniffing Sammy. It was so cute.
Adorable photo of your fur-friends. Molly and Ms Kitty tolerate one another but are not really friends. Ms Kitty has always been a wary loner ... Molly is everybody's friend wherever she goes.
Hugs and blessings,
