I hope you enjoy these pictures of my cheap therapy and workout program aka My Garden.
I recently installed a rock and flower garden with roses, agapanthus, and alyssum.
Day Lilies are perennial and thrive on neglect. My kind of flower.
Here is White Alyssum, Yellow Cornflowers, and Blue Cosmos. (Doesn't Blue Cosmos sound like an alcoholic beverage? Blue Cosmos for me and my girlfriends, please. Gosh, let's invent the drink if they haven't already.)
All done trimming my roses to prepare them for another rounds of blooms.Thank you for sharing in the Sunny Delight of my garden.

i'll have two cherries in my blue cosmos please... hmmm... blue cosmos... that should have bombay sapphire gin in it at least, shouldn't it? happy monday... there's still 12 minutes of sunday left here :)
I have to agree with you about day lilies. Thank goodness they can handle the neglect in my yard and still come out looking wonderful.
It is certainly great therapy working in a garden! So often I go out to do one task and end up there doing far more! But it feels good!
I also love day lilies. I'm hoping my lantana will take over a good part of my garden too.
Your garden is lovely.
It looks so pretty, I love yellow.
Beautiful flowers in your garden Ms Martha! Those Blue Cosomos would be frozen drinks wouldn't they?
What a lovely Garden! So relaxing! I need to do something like that in my yard. I just hate yard work sooo much!
That yellow garden glove and beautiful rosebud has brought to mind, it is time I put on my gloves and go dead head the roses.
Yellow is such a pick-me-up color. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your garden!

Dirt-caked yellow glove
bears witness to pulling weeds

I need to trim my roses and the lavender... it has finished blooming.
Those yellow cornflowers are beautiful! Wish we could grow those up here...not enough sun (except for this summer!) I think.
Hope all is well with you, Martha.
Beautiful flowers! Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and entering the Longaberger contest! I have you down for 2 entries! I was a California girl for about a year of my life. . .1996 hubby was in the USMC and we lived in San Fran. LOVED IT!!! We visited So Cal for about a week and LOVED IT too!
Be Blessed,
Amy
Lovely blossoms in your garden ... yellows are always so cheerful. I used to use gloves but these days I use LOTS of hand lotion after washing thoroughly ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
maybe Blue Curacao, splash of cranberry or something sweet, and vodka mixed to have a little bit of Red white and blue for 4th of July and placed nicely in a Martini Glass.........I don't know how it would taste with the Blue Curacao, but I am up to try the combination.....couldn't hurt to try, and try and try and try.
Beautiful Garden.
