I <3 Thrift Stores for Pink Saturday

I love thrift stores and grew up going to them, flea markets, and auctions with my Mom, an arts and antiques dealer. You can also always find fun pink items when you are out and about at the local thrift and antique stores.
This pink rose painting would really add panache to the right space.
These hot pink shoes really stand out on this display. Don't you want to know what motivated someone to buy them? Just a little?
There are some lovely pink floral china tchotkes on this display at Ye Local Antique Mall. (Tchotkes is Yiddish for bric a brac, which is what? What is bric a brac from??)
This scaldingly HOT Pink stuffed kitty cat and vintage jewelry box would delight many a little girl.

Thank you to Beverly for being the host of Pink Saturday in all it's pinkfabuliciouness! Also, Beverly asked us to link up a new blogger that we met last week for Pink Saturday and I visited My Thoughts My Voice and invite you to do so too. Many thanks as always for your visit and I wish you my pinky best.

It's amazing how much pink is hiding away in charity shops (as we call them!). I love doing the rounds of ours. You can always find something useful lurking in the back somewhere.
Happy Pink Saturday :)

L♥ve your pink goodies this week. Just when I think I have enough pink in my life I participate in Pink Saturday and see even more sweet things I’d enjoy having in my home or flowers for my gardens or just to look at☺ What could be better than the color pink dancing in your head all morning?

Thanks so much for sharing. Hoping your weekend is filled with sunshine and the comfort of those you love and who love you.

I love flea markets too! My sisters and I went a couple of Fridays ago and I wish I'd have thought to bring my camera. Did find some bargains though! Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful pink week!!

Lovely treasures you found there! Now, did you get any for yourself?

Glad you explained that word Tchotkes, at least it is easier to pronounce bric a brac.

Hi Martha! Happy Pink Saturday! I'm a thrift store and yard sale junkie too. Somehow other people's stuff is way more interesting than new stuff. I've got my eye on the pink tablecloth under the pink kitty. Have a great weekend.

I think buried in each of us is a need to walk the aisles of thrift stores. I loved your photos. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

Cute blog and love the pink!!! I also grew up going to auctions (my dad is an auctioneer). It's a lot of fun.

Oh Yeah...thrifty should have been my middle name or cheap - I'm not sure which.

I LOVE the necklace!!! Sorry if I didn't reply, can't remember with the attack of the nits round here lately!

Think we are nearing the end...finally.

Cute finds.

I love thrift stores

Here is my Saturday pink story- Tyler my girlfriends 6 year old plays soccer. They asked him to be goalie - he refused at first because the goalie shirt is pink. It's actually a pretty fushia and we convinced him it was purple. She has no idea where this pink aversion came from - it was funny and sad.

Which thrift store is this? The only one I ever go to is Goodwill. And sometimes that's kind of sketchy. I've gotten tons of books for my classroom there, though!

I just spent an entire afternoon wandering past antique shop after antique shop. I had to window shop; otherwise I would have gone in and bought all the furniture!

Pink! Yay! The world definitely needs more pink.
I'm curious about that Michael Kors-lookalike necklace/bag chain you mentioned you found at the craft store. Did you have a photo link?

Thanks for your comments!

I have never been a fan of the word (phrase?) bric a brac. Mainly because I couldn't spell it.
