A Couple Befores and Afters for Almost Wordless Wednesday

I love Before and After pictures whether it's fashion makeovers or home renovations. So, in that spririt, I would like to share a couple of my little projects presented as "Befores and Afters."

Here are some broken, single earrings and chain that I made into a pendant necklace.

Black and white is a favorite color combination especially with this retro mod look.

Last Spring, I replaced a small strip of grass that was impossible to mow with a perennial garden.

The garden came out great after much back breaking labor, mind numbing planning, and too many trips to recall to the building supply and the nursery. All the perennials have filled in and are doing great.
Just call me "The Rock Whisperer", I swear it took longer to place the granite and rocks than other part of this project.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures and that you have lots of great Befores and Afters, In Betweens too, because that's where you spend the most time. Thank you for your visit and all the good wishes about the wildfires nearby.

Excellent before and after photos!

A well placed rock does wonders for a garden - and yours looks beautiful! We live in an area with a lot of river bluffs, which have some nice rock falls. My husband (and his mom) frequently stop by the side of the road to liberate rocks. In fact, my husband even carried a bunch of rocks back from West Virginia, because they were different from what you can get around here.

Oh Martha!
What a beautiful garden. Love the landscaping. Just beautiful. It is now a beautiful little oasis that you can go out and walk around and enjoy. Isn't it amazing what a few plants and rocks can do for an area? I love gardening, but unfortunately here in Phoenix it is still to hot. My gardens are pretty much burnt up for the season, so I am looking forward to a Fall garden. We are still having 106+ days here. Yesterday was a fryer for sure. Thanks for sharing. Country hugs, Sherry
