I don't want to jinx it, but a few years ago I bought a tiny baby dying cactus on clearance at a store and it has since been in constant ORANGE bloom and growing like crazy!

Great shot. I lived in AZ for a while but never got to see the desert in bloom. Cactus flowers always seem like little miracles to me... but then all flowers seem like (are!) little miracles, I guess.
Beautiful! I miss the blooming cacti. You can buy them at Home.Depot here, but they usually rot in a month or two. The real thing, right out of the ground, is the best!
That cactus is beautiful... the colour of the blooms are INCREDIBLE!
