Q&A about blogging

From Zen Ventures, a little Q & A about blogging-
1.What do you hope to achieve in blogging?
2.Why do you blog?
3.What do you blog about?

1. I really don't know what I hope to "achieve" with blogging, really no aspirations except learning and connecting with folks on a host of topics, share some laughs, and learn more about myself and the great world through others' experiences.

2. I comment, therefore, I blog. I can be quite the commenter, so turn around is only fair play. Some of the bloggers I follow share very personal and heartfelt experiences and I want to give them the opportunity to weigh in on what I have to share. The give and take is what it's all about. I also telecommute and enjoy the virtual community and support of my blog friends. There is genuine connection and caring, it's just wonderful.

3. To borrow the term from the inestimable Lori of Weebles Wobblog, I am a free range blogger posting about whatever catches my fancy and touches my heart. And I try not to bore anyone, including myself.

So there you have it, please play along by answering any or all. Thank you so much.

The grass is oh-so-good on the free range, aint it?

I would probably cut and paste your answers as mine.

No wonder we were drawn to each other!

1.What do you hope to achieve in blogging?
I wanted to be closer to my sister...Check....now I want to find an outlet for my artistic creative side, which may lead to an on-line Etsy shop....=)
2.Why do you blog?
I blog because I get a break from the chaos of real world and a platform to state my case.
3.What do you blog about?

I see my blog as part online journal, part teaching, and partly as a way to gove and receive advice from women going through similar issues, i.e IF and parenting.

I started blogging about a year and a half ago after I got laid off from my job... I found myself at home, starting a business and going slightly NUTS so decided to keep myself busy by blogging. I found I loved it, and really loved reading what OTHER people had to write as well!
It's addictive and very rewarding and I've encountered some really amazing people along the Yellow Blog Path of life.

I blog about anything and everything. My kids, my husband, my dogs (and what the Lab puppy has destroyed), God, my faith, politics, how bizarre people are, how GOOD people can be, etc.

I love movies, books, music so those make it into my blog as well.

I guess you could say my blog is a "canvas" of sorts for my brain.

And I love the "moral support" we bloggers give one another and the sense of community we have... I think that's really cool.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. :)

I love that we are all drawn to this for a reason, and let it morph into whatever it becomes.

I don't think I can pasture in your free-range though. I am in the adjacent field, the "grief range" where the grass is just a bit burnt and brown, but not all the time!

I started my blog as an outlet for the words whizzing about my head after George's death. I didn't really have any achievement in mind, except perhaps peace of mind. I did some blogging before but never every day and never so personal.

And, well, I blog about my grief, my Poppet, my life and my George.

And it's brought me so much comfort and companionship and lovely new friends who make me cry in a nice way!
