I.pod Anxiety

I am experiencing a little I.pod anxiety. You know, that sinking feeling when you are without your favorite electronic gadget? I love my I.pod nano even though it's three years old (I am very loyal that way, it works perfectly, who needs anything else?) Well, apparently I do, because for the holidays, my hubby got me an I.touch. This is one cool gadget, it's the I.phone without the phone (which I hear is kind of a pain.) The I.touch can play music, (of course), watch videos, surf the web, send Emails, click on a map photo of your friend's house at the beach, really cool stuff. I was love, love, loving my new toy. Until I found out it was the First generation, not their most recent generation, which contains a Built In Speaker and double the battery life. So, off to the internet vendor it goes to be exchanged for the Newest I.touch. I will keep it for a long time, so I might as well get the most recent configuration, right? I sure do miss my new gadget and hope to get the replacement soon. I am worried about recopying my library (Again!!) and all the potential data download headaches. I used to joke about people dependent on their Black.berries, but I get it now.

Disclaimer: This is Not a Paid Endorsement. Gee, I wish, I need to tell Apple Corp. if Bono isn't available, I will be delighted.

Oh man I want one so bad!

But since I'm homebound 90% of the time, the laptop works for me. And oh my heck if I had to live without that for a few days, well, let's just say it would NOT be pretty!

i hear steve jobs may not be available...maybe you could offer to do his job ;). i dont have an ipod and i think there's a great cultural divide... those of you who love them, and those of us who look at them and shake their heads... in much the same way i imagine some of our ancestors did the first time they were presented with flint :).

I'm in the no-iPod group too. My husband has one, but I mostly just listen to music in the car anyway. We're not supposed to wear headphones at work, which is the only other place I need to drown out noise...

But, I know your pain. I get antsy now when I can't use my laptop. Technology addict...

Oooo, I'm jealous. The ipod touch looks awesome. I want one, but my nano has a lot of life left.

I wish I had one too! It's funny that you posted about this. I often say that my husband cheats on me with his electronics because he and them have more "quality time" than we do sometimes, LOL!

My creative zen stone has been keeping company for quite some time and we've become quite attached to each other. But I have to confess that ipods are incredibly sexy.

I just got an Ipod a year ago, and LOVE it. It really motivates me to get out and exercise.

I am sorely tempted to get a phone that allows me to check blogs and emails. But really- aren't I addicted enough?
