Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!! House all to myself!

The Hallelujahs and collective sigh of relief are heard and felt not only in my fine, suburban tract home, but all across the Santa Clarita Valley as the Winter Holiday break of 3 weeks is Finally over and the KIDS ARE Back in School!
It was nice to let them sleep in and not nag them about homework, but it will also be nice not to nag them about hanging around the house and playing with electronic gadgets nonstop. The quiet is blissful, even the dog who adores his boys, seems relieved for some downtime.

Please stop by Weebles Webblog for more Perfect Moments this Monday, thank you.

I think you have captured the very essence of the most perfect Perfect Moment.

Yay for you! On my way over with hot coffee for some kvetching and kvelling.

Big grin here. I'm vicariously experiencing your Moment.

The kids in your area didn't go back till the 12th????

That's just barbaric.

I'm currently fighting a 2 year old for a nap, so it'll be a few years until I get that bonus.

Enjoy your peace and quiet!

Your gain is my loss.

Just kidding. My school actually doesn't go back until next week.

But I DO love having the house to myself. Like that ever happens!

Ummm, hi? That last comment was actually from me. Not my daughter! My computer is being fixed.

Hallelujah! I was so happy when mine went back as much as I loved them home. Quiet - blissful quiet.

When I was in new-baby bliss, so smitten with prolactin-infused LOVE, I used to stare incredulously at women who talked about relief when their children were at preschool, or school.

How Could They? I wanted to spend every moment with this little person.

There's nothing like time force-feeding you a dose of humility.

I'm singing alto (fervently) in the hallelujah chorus.
