I am glad the election is over and I hope folks can get back to being "Polite" instead of "Political". Hey, I'm sorry your ____________ (fill in the blank - your candidate, proposition, etc.) didn't get ______________ (fill in the blank - elected, passed, etc.) Gee, now can we stop fussing at each other? I have seen a side of some people I don't really need to ever, ever see AGAIN. However, despite some flashes of ugliness and intolerance, it's wonderful to see folks engaged in the process and inspired by this election's place in history.

I, too, am enjoying the kumbaya-ness of the days after. It was such a mean season.
I think I've had my fill of politics and ads full of mudslinging. Now we get a 4 year break-whew!
Amen.
And can I issue an apology for the Christians.
The sheer effort that goes into the US elections makes my nation look severely amateur.
