Veteran's Day at Disneyland

Our family went to Disneyland on Veteran's Day this week. It was alot of fun and the fellas enjoyed it tremendously.

Cinderella's Castle in the process of being decorated for the Holidays.

Here is the Haunted Mansion. This ride used to be one of my favorites but they completely updated it into "The Nightmare Before Christmas". It seems like one big marketing tie in now.

The Small World ride was closed which is a Tragedy of Epic Proportion for me. Is the "Small World" song stuck in your head yet? "It's a world of laughter, a world of fun, la, la, la, la,la,la, It's a Small World After All...". (Um, sorry, I couldn't help myself.)

"Buzz Lightyear here, I command you to have a Great Day! Over and Out, Star Command!"

I am so going to show this post to my kids later on.

Or maybe I shouldn't, since we have very low prospects of getting to DL anytime soon.

Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks for the It's a Small World brain virus...

That doesn't look anything like I remember from...Holy Crap! Was that 30 years ago??? Yikes!

Anyway, hope you had a good time, marketing ploys aside.

I think that "It's A Small World," is my favorite disney song ever. The ride was always my favorite. Not sure if it is still the same. The last time I was on it I was like 14. Long before they changed the Pirates of The Caribbean Ride too, when it was still politically incorrect . . . . . ahhhhh, the good old days. The pirates still chased the maidens around in a circle.

That looks like fun! The last time I went to Disney was Tokyo Disney back in the 90s. Imagine "It's a Small World" being sung in Japanese...

I love Disneyland! Can you believe my DH has NEVER been to either DL or DisneyWorld? Now THAT's a tragedy of epic proportion! And it's SO much fun to go with kids. To see their joy and awe. I personally love the Peter Pan "ride" the most.

So jealous!
