Drive By Blogging - Monday minutiae*

I've been sick with a cold and have a new found appreciation and love of soft tissues. How did people survive without ibuprofen? I guess they went straight for the good stuff like opium tincture which was available from your local chemist.

The weather here was 80 degrees last weekend. I apologize if you've been hit by Snowpackolypse or whatever they are calling it. Give me an earthquake or wildfire anyday over having to warm up the car and clean off the windshield. I like grabbing my keys and going, something which is quite an undertaking in snowy climes.

Half of getting ready to take a certification exam is learning how to retake standardized tests. Words like Except and always and multiple choice multiple choices = prepared to be crosseyed and Caution ahead for The Most Correct Answer.

The best part of the Olympics is checking out the fashion. Let's face it, after I've seen a few ski jumps or mogul runs, (which hurts my knees to watch), I'm good for four more years. I enjoyed the parade of nations and colorful outerwear, and now love all the lycra and sequins of the figure skaters.

St.Valentine's Day was lovely, (well except for the cold), love is truly all around us.**

So, what's new with you?

Puffs Plus. With lotion. Great for my nose. Not so good for cleaning my glasses. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I don't know how people did without so many of our modern conveniences. I'm such a wimp, give me all these fantastic products to make me feel better! But then again, I'm sure my sons will wonder how I survived without telepathy or hovercrafts.

NeoCitron.

Sending hugs. Also, catty remarks about some of those skating outfits. Sending clowns to the Olympics? oh my.

I hope you feel better soon. I puffy heart tissues with the lotion in them...even when I'm not sick. My allergies are starting to kick in over here in the desert. It was in the 70s today and we cranked up the A/C in the car...hard to believe it's so cold in other parts of the country.

My husband and I were just saying how the mogul runs make our knees ache.

As far as what's going on with me...I'm giving balls away on my blog. LOL Come check it out. Oh and thank you for the kind comments all the time. You're fab.

I'm feeling incredibly guilty right this moment because I haven't watched even one half second of the Olympics. What is my problem?

80 degrees. Seriously? I think it's 8 degrees right now. With about 15 inches of snow on the ground. You enjoy that warm weather!

I can't remember what "warm" feels like.

Yuk and aloe vera tissues to the cold.

Oh 80 degrees how I would love that so! I hope you are feeling better soon though. Colds and nose blowing are miserable...no matter what weather you are surrounded by! ((Hugs))

Well we've been having beautiful weather. And for the first time in many years I caught a cold over the Christmas holiday. I rediscovered soft tissues with lotion [Puff Plus] and they saved my sandpaper nose. Love them...

I've also been stalking food blogs and cooking new meals from them it's been fun actually. Have you ever done that?

I made fun of someone not long ago for wanting Kleenex with lotion. Then when I had the sniffles a few weeks ago and was using my REGULAR Kleenex, I thought I was using sand paper to blow my nose!

Hope you're feeling better!
