Welcome to Perfect Moment Monday, hosted by the gracious Lori of Weebles Wobblog, and thank you for your visit.
I have many perfect moments to share from my survival, I mean, ENJOYMENT of the holidays, but one that really lightened my heart was watching our 11 y/o and 14 y/o sons, with No Less Than Three Game systems including a BRAND New P.S.P 3 in the House, take the discarded cardboard boxes and wrapping paper tubes and play with them for hours nonstop with their friends. They constructed shields and weapons of course, (cause they are boys and that is what they do), and used up every roll of packing, mask, and duct tape we had, but it is a true joy and one of the many highlights of my holidays to see the fun of friendship and imagination, and kids being kids.

That is perfect!
Samuel has had a Perfect Paper Monday today with some old boxes waiting for re-cycling, a few bits of wood out of the shed and a whole load of Lego. He made a huge fort in the living room and at this precise moment I can't get in there but hey ho he's had a great time while it's been snowing again. So much for the new X-Box LOL :0)
I have all this to look forward to, don't I??
The joys of cardboard wrapping paper tubes are forever! Even I will get into a sword fight with those!
I bet that is the memory of the holidays that they hold onto!
What a great perfect moment.
SO many things you can do with a cardboard tube.
Glad your boys explored all the ways...
We bought J a little toy kitchen and lo and behold, he ends up playing in the box!
That IS cool. Mine were somehow bored over break and they have a Wii, Playstation, a PC and a DS. Seriously, they need a dose of reality. *snicker*
So this is what I have to look forward to with Mr. Miles?
