I am looking forward to going to Yosemite, California for a few days this week with the family. However, I hate packing!!! Packing is such a misnomer, that's only one piece of the puzzle. It's all the prep work I dislike, figuring out the clothes, the laundry, stopping the newspaper, cleaning the litter box, watering the plants, pay bills, ACCCCKKK!! Plus, I have to supervise packing of the two boys stuff, but thankfully they are very self sufficient and getting more so all the time. But still, it's times like these I wish I had a personal assistant or I could wiggle my nose like my favorite TV witch and be done with it!
Enough of the crab session, I am excited to go to Yosemite for the first time and experience the waterfalls and wildflowers of Spring there. We are staying in a condo right in Yosemite National Park. We also have lunch planned at the Ahwahnee Hotel. It will be great to get away.

I'm always trying to wiggle my nose and poof it will all be done but it never works. I'm the main vacation prep/plan/pack person in the house so I really relate. It will all be worth it.

Have fun on vacation! Sounds like a great place to go! Whenever packing, I always fall back on Flylady's packing list and have added some handwritten notes of things specific to our family.
I love Yosemite! Chas and I have had a lot of memories there. I really love Emerald lake on the hike to Half Dome.....however we took the long way with the camp out overnight, when we got to half dome, I became overcome with fear of heights and did not complete the top of the mountain and I still kick myself in the butt for it. Have a great time, take extra batteries because you will take plenty of pictures....They charge a lot there for the supplies
ooooh and don't forget sunscreen.

I would love to take my boys to Yosemite. That's on my someday vacation list. Even though vacations can be a lot of work to get ready for I'm sure it will be worth it.
