I have always been a fan of fashion pins and I am delighted they are back in vogue. (Thank you, Mrs.Obama!) I have a collection of Swaroski crystal and enamel pins from the 1980s when I sold costume jewelry wholesale during college. Two of the pins, one of a seal with a pearl on his nose and the other of a sword, are from Mallorca, Spain with the traditional black enamel design. At the top of the picture is a pin from China made with jade, coral, and peacock feathers. I am especially fond of the animal pins including the Toucan, Carousel Horse, and Spotted Jaguar.
