I've Fallen and I can't get up.
I feel somewhat numb by all the stuff to do, the busy craziness with sick people at work, and trying not to feel ODD cause I am just not feeling it to the Nnth degree. I am not a Scrooge or a Grinch, I am happy, content, enjoying the season, not feeling especially stressed, just kinda in cruise control here. If stuff gets done, great, if not, meh.
I am having a little bloggy guilt, my commenting, following, posting, and creativity are also lying prone on the linoleum with my phone and assistive devices just out of reach. It's not because I'm not thinking about all my cyberbuds, I do, I am, and I send my best, it because I just can't get out of my own way some days. Even when I am content to lie here with the cool floor beneath me.

Unfortunately, I feel that way at work. May have something to do with losing 50% of our staff in my section in the last 3 years. Maybe next week.
Take a break. Enjoy the view from a new perspective there on the linoleum.
Now I'm picturing you there on the floor as a pathetic old woman with your one arm extended. Look what you've done! ;)
Oh my dear! Take care of you:) We will all be here when you managae to claw your way back.
I still love you. We can sing at the top of our lungs on Friday. . .
Hey, Girlfriend.
You have so much coin in the bank with me that you (and with others, i bet) that you should stop feeling guilty RIGHT NOW.
As for the other part, I am sorry you're in a blue hue. I know this time of year is hard for you. Go easy on yourself.
XOXO
I second Lavender! We will still be feeling you even if you need a break -- just make sure to check in every now and then so we know you are okay. :)
I agree with what areyoukiddingme said; take a break; I always tell people blogs will be there, they never seem to go away :)
seriously, enjoy the season and then come back when and if you are ready :)
betty
Hugs... hope you are feeling less meh soon.
While you are feeling meh, don't forget what a inspiration you are.
Take care
I think you get a hall pass, Martha.
Maybe for Christmas you'll get one of those fancy shmancy alert/alarm necklaces. That should do the trick.
ah, i know what you mean. i have yet to make plans for christmas day and am sailing in without caring what others expect
your craft it forward (backwards) is in the mail with no note (duh) let me know when you get it.thanks
It's busy around here too! I just realized I've only done one post in the last month. I'm having so much fun with the babies, though, but I should post more about them so I can remember later.
take it easy..
Ack! Me too - move over, another Martha needs a spot on the linoleum!
Hello Martha! I wrote you a letter on E-mail yesterday.
Let's be honest: I don't like the pressure of the holidays! That's what bothers many of us.
I second, third, fourth...and fifteenth what everyone else says. You are always such a solid gold commenter on my blog that you have earned enough brownie points for the next 5 years.
A few days on the linoleum may be just what the Dr ordered...
I love you Martha!! I think you are GREAT!!
take your time...we're all falling every now and then!
Have a cup of coffee/tea
or glass of wine,
relax,
be good to yourself!
Have a great Sunday!
I get it, we all get it. It's okay.
No worries. Blog land isn't going anywhere.
Whenever you're ready just place your arms on the floor rise up on your elbows push up until you're sitting up. Swing your legs around, roll over to get up on you knees grab the back of a chair and stand.
You'll be fine :-)
Enjoy the linoleum for a while...sit up, give me your hand and I'll help you back up. Love you!
its ok.. you take a break and breathe.. and relax... we'll be here when you come again!!!!
If it makes you feel any better, I'm way behind too. I feel as though I'm always trying to play catch up at everything.
Happy stress free holidays!
Stay where you are and chill :0) We're not going anywhere.
