Snow Kidding in Los Angeles

We knew something was up last weekend when the 12 y/o asked, "Why can I see the rain?"

That's snow up in them thar Santa Monica Mountains.

The snow made the backyard look like it had been sprinkled with fairy dust.

Happy Twenty-Eleven to you and yours. Thanks for the visit.

Wasn't that exciting?!!! I would be loving that, especially since it's really just a touch and not enough to make a difference. :)

Wow, mama nature is so unpredictable.
Your New Year's menu sounds yummy! If I ever get that far west I would love to get together. And you are always welcome her as well.
Thanks for the love and support.

Lovely to look at, not so nice to be out in. We had about three foot of the stuff. Happy 2011 to you and yours as well Martha.

Jason, as himself said...

It was quite something! And I just watched it, wistfully, through the window. Not even tempted to go outside.
