There is a prize for the first correct guess about what this heart is made of. (I apologize that I can't figure out how to write that sentence without ending it in a preposition, a big No-No! Help me, Mrs.Spit!) Thank you and may you find beauty in an unexpected place.

I'm going to guess old bubblegum.
Is it an oil stain of concrete?

I am guessing an old door (like a paint chip)
I'm going to guess it's a bird flying in the sky? I'm probably way off.
Sir Winston Churchill, one of the greatest orators and writers of all time, sent an edit back to his speech writer, with the following words.
Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put.
Sometimes it is absolutely impossible to not end a sentence wtih a preposition.
You could say:
The person who guesses what this heart is made of, will receive first prize.
it is either chocolate or black pastel crayon on concrete.
I blog on IF separately under my pseudonym Arpee @ The Saga of Becoming Fruitful
I think it is eye pencil shavings.
Thanks for commenting on my blog.
My first thought was oil on concrete
I thought it was bird poop or a squished caterpillar!

Thx for the dog litter links. Neela is so weird - she goes for walks, but doesn't often go pee or poo on them. The litter box is great for when we're gone longer than 6-8 hrs (like a work day) then we leave her food and water and her litter and she kind of takes care of herself, LOL! We don't have a fenced in yard, and I didn't want to electric fence her when she was a 3 pound puppy - so that's what we did. Plus our breeder litter box trains all the puppies so when we got her she was basically house trained at 12 wks - made for an easy transition!
My guess is gum on a sidewalk!
